About Terry

From requirements to release.

Terry is the Technical Director and co-founder of Tassilo Digital, a Metro Manila studio building member portals, learning platforms, skills frameworks, and interactive applications for academic, government, and organizational clients.

Terry leads each engagement from requirements definition through deployment: scope and estimation, schedule and resourcing, risk mitigation, release management, and project financial performance. Delivery is matched to the work — sequential planning for fixed-scope institutional projects, iterative cycles for product and platform builds.

That practice draws on a background in enterprise software engineering at Accenture, university systems and learning-platform operations at De La Salle University, and a decade of technical teaching. Terry is comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and translating between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.

Terry holds an MS in Computer Science from De La Salle University and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Information Technology.

Course delivery, enrolment, progress tracking, assessment, certification and CPD records — from LMS strategy and deployment to curriculum digitisation and custom course platforms.

Skills & Knowledge Frameworks

Competency structures, qualification frameworks, research archives, and institutional knowledge made navigable — including national skills frameworks and data-visualisation dashboards.

Games & Interactive Applications

Scenario-based training and assessment, serious games, simulations, and 3D and augmented-reality applications.

  1. Cambodia National Skills Framework

    Government · Royal Government of Cambodia

    A national framework connecting vocational institutions and government ministries, which existed as a structure too complex to navigate.

    Tassilo built a dashboard that turns the competency architecture into something searchable and explorable, so institutions, ministries, and learners can see how the national vocational landscape fits together. Terry coordinated requirements, build, and deployment across international stakeholders.

  2. Performance Studies international

    Scholarly association · ~4,000 members

    An international research association with two decades of member records and a rotating volunteer board.

    Tassilo has run the platform for two years: a staged overhaul across four phases, membership management and renewals, and a custom member portal in development. When a full headless rebuild was on the table, the studio advised against it — the migration risk to member records outweighed the gain.

  3. GrayMatters Philippines

    Psychological practice · Three branches

    Session booking, secure payment, document submission, and consultant management that needed to work as one system rather than four.

    Tassilo built three connected portals — clients book and pay, consultants manage caseloads, administrators oversee everything — with branch-specific availability, PayMongo payments, automatic Google Meet scheduling, and QuickBooks integration. For GrayMatters Academy, the studio then built the learning platform the practice uses to run its own continuing-education courses.

    Research institute · De La Salle University

    A health-engineering research institution that needed its work, people, and credentials represented properly — a different problem from a marketing website.

    Tassilo built the institutional platform: research showcase, team and people directory, grants and awards, and an archive of funding and publications.

Teaching & Research

A decade in the classroom.

Alongside the studio, Terry has taught at De La Salle University and Lyceum of the Philippines University — most recently as Associate Lecturer in the Department of Software Technology, supervising undergraduate thesis teams through scoping, milestone planning, delivery, and defense under fixed academic deadlines.

Teaching has covered web application development, game development, and UI/UX. Terry is a Unity Certified Developer and a CGArts Certified Instructor.
